A soft beanie hand crocheted in finest quality pure 100% alpaca wool. It will keep your ears lovely and warm. It features a beautiful 'star' pattern and this pattern gives it a soft, squidgy feel.
Alpaca is four times warmer than lambswool and it doesn't pill (bobble), so you will find this hat looks good for ages. Choose from 9 popular colours, all ready to dispatch immediately. You will find this hat gets softer and softer as you use it!
You won't need to wash it often as the properties of the natural fibre repel dirt and moisture. When you do wash it, hand wash in warmish (about 30 degrees) water with delicate detergent or shampoo and it will wash brilliantly and stay like new. Do not tumble dry, just lie flat to dry.

In 2008 we began working with a women's co-operative on the outskirts of Lima with the aim of providing employment for struggling families. We discovered some fantastic knitters with incredible skills, who needed a little help designing and marketing knitwear, and that is how our story began. All of our 100% alpaca products are made using top quality, truly luxurious alpaca fibre which we source from the highly regarded Peruvian manufacturer 'Michell'. It is known for its softness, superior warmth, lightweightedness and durability - it will last much longer than synthetic fibres.

The Crochet beanie is beautiful the fit is perfect and the wool very soft and I love wearing it. I also love alpaca wool it’s very warm and soft.
